Make new friends and nurture your creativity as you take control of your life narrative, two pages at a time, in this new writing workshop!

Join a small group of 5-6 participants as we support each other through an exciting reading and writing program, specifically designed to help women explore the themes of power and leadership in their lives. This curriculum will guide you through the process of expressing and sharing your experiences related to power and leadership in a confidential environment with others who are on similar journeys.

Over five weeks we will explore a variety of life roles and themes that often help to define our experiences with authority and power as women:

• Mothers & Daughters — Connection & Disconnection
• Mentors & Guardians — Incitement & Restraint
• Lovers & Partners — Love & Power
• Rulers & Rebels — Authority & Values
• Champions & Muses — Memory & Fame

Each session is two hours. During the first hour, we will share two pages of our own writing, offered as works-in-progress, and receive supportive feedback. During the second hour we will jumpstart our thinking with poems, excerpts from award-winning memoirs, and fun exercises—all aligned with that week’s lens and theme.

NOTE: This group is geared toward brand new writers. Our focus is on writing and sharing as creative outlets for self-discovery. You will never be graded or critiqued. If you can write an email, you can do this!
